Cadettes can still sign up and participate in the MEdia journey, in the last two weeks of July! The Cadettes will explore local climate trends, connections between media and storytelling, environmental justice, vision, values, leadership, and Advocacy for transforming media for storytelling and climate education.
Four 50-minute meetings will be held on Zoom videoconference platform (not Balboa Program Center), on dates listed on the tickets. Activities will be completed individually and with partners and will take 2 to 3 hours between each meeting. The MEdia Journey will be facilitated by two amazing Ambassadors and a Senior!
Journeys were attended by more than 400 older girls since April 2020. This summer, Cadettes are earning their Breathe Journey and Seniors are focused on climate action in their GIRLtopia journey.
